The women's marches that occurred throughout the world in January made us feel proud, inspired, strong, empowered — yet, they also acted as a stark reminder that it's just the beginning. Change is only incremental. Our past tell us that it takes small, consistent, purposeful efforts from all of us to enact real change. With all the uncertainties that lie with our new administration, I must ask: what are you fighting for?
For me, it's doing small things to benefit our future — especially for our young girls. Along with Meghan Corridan, a good customer and dear friend, we've launched a new campaign: #littlegirls4bigchange. We're giving girls the platform to speak up and fight for equality, empowering them but most importantly, giving us all hope for a better future.
