the summer of '88 was a time of adventure and excitement~ my family decided to move from california to new jersey and we drove cross country. i was excited for our new life in the east coast but also sad to leave a sunny state that was "home" to me. it was bitter sweet. many years have passed since then and even though i am technically now a new yorker, i still feel very cali at heart. what better way to celebrate both coasts than to wear this whimsical necklace from ten things? who said you couldn't have it all?
