Alphabet books are a great gift giving idea for any child in your life. We especially love Ida Pearle's alphabet book A Child's Day: An Alphabet of Play. We love the colorful, textural illustrations on each page, made even more special by the unique method of creative collage that the New York based artist uses. By layering beautiful colors and prints each figure comes to life, whether a girl is feeding her cat for "F" or a boy is catching printed butterflies for "C". Every page brings a whimsical surprise! We also carry her alphabet cards that are a great decorating idea for any room! "A Child's Day: An Alphabet of Play" was also recently featured in Cookie Magazine's favorite alphabet books. Go Ida! Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!! Labels: a childs day, abc, brooklyn artist, cookie magazine, ida pearle
