there are many things in life that we take for granted.....the ability to see, the ability to hear, the ability to read and write.

i was sitting in the subway on my way home the other day and looked up to a quote that said "it is a terrible thing to see and have no vision!" it was a quote from a woman whom we all know and love ... helen keller was an inspirational woman who taught the world to respect people who are blind and deaf. her mission obviously came from her own life when she became extremely ill at the age of 1 1/2 and lost both her vision and hearing.

we are very blessed to have the gift of vision and hearing....we need to embrace life to the fullest!
